Engineering Office

•  Provide the necessary engineering and consultancy services for the University administration and the colleges in addition to selecting the key solution, and preparing the blueprints and tender documents required in accordance with the nature of work and the request of the funding body in proportion to the Board of Trustees vision.
• Use the best contractors, technicians and workers to carry out the work.
• Provide technical support to the maintenance officer.
• Provide job opportunities for engineers as required by the project or work needed.
• Supervise and follow up all projects related to construction, finishing and procurement, and contracting  with other professional bodies for implementation.
• Supervising projects under implementation.
• Provide the technical specifications and conditions required for the University facilities.

Implemented Projects:

• Student Activities Building Project built in three phases, starting in 2003 with a grant of $1.8 from the Al-Aqsa Fund and was administered by Islamic Development Bank.
• The area of the building is 8750 m² with a total cost of $3.5 million, and it includes sports center, University restaurant and cafeteria; it also includes a large auditorium with 280-seats, a multipurpose hall, in addition to classrooms and academic staff offices.
• Strategic Studies Building Project, finishing works started in 2004 to equip a 120-seat auditorium, a conference room equipped with video conference and audio-visual equipment.
• Finishing work of the Model School building is done/ total area 800 m2, with a total cost of $250,000. The area will be used for a new off campus Kindergarten and a primary school with 300 students.
• Addition of a new floor to Omar Bin Khattab Building with a total area of 580 m2; this floor is financed by the German Bank at a cost of $400,000, / includes training and teaching classrooms, and offices for the staff.
• Expansion of Sheikh Al-Jabari Building by adding 4 floors and a basement with 2,400 m2 at a cost of 700,000 dollars,/ includes classrooms and offices for the staff.
• Radio Alam and Media Department Studios Project, 2013/ 400 m2, at a cost of $250,000.
• Other projects include scientific labs for the Colleges of Science, Nursing and Pharmacy/ on campus. 
• Maintenance work for University buildings and facilities /on and Off Campus.

Projects under implementation 2016-2017:

• Addition of 400-square-m2floor for the University Model School with a total cost of $120,000.
• Public administration Building Project/Phase I/total area: 11,275 m² with a total cost of $2.1 million.
• Medical CollegesComplex Project /phase I/total area: 4,200 m², with a total cost of $1.2 million.
• Pharmacy College Lab with a total cost of $30,000 / no devices.
• Maintenance work within the University facilities with a total cost of $60,000.
