The Participation in the First International Forum on Mental Health and Society

 

Dr. Kamel Hasan Katalo, from the Psychology Department – College of Education, Participated in the First International Forum on mental health and society that was held in 8th May 1945 Guelma University in Algeria.

Dr. Katlo's Participation came through a scientific research titled " The Romantic Relationships – Love" on a sample of married students at the university. He also participated in the committee membership formed for the forum recommendations.
The study aimed at finding out the indicators of romantic relationships among married students, and investigating the nature of differences in the relations among the members of the study sample based on sex, duration of marriage, and number of children.

The study sample was 239 students (99 male/ 140 female) who were randomly selected from Hebron University students and who were in the second, third, and fourth year of their study.

Descriptive analysis and the analysis of multiple and unilateral variations to figure out the differences according to the variables in the study were utilized.
