HU Colleges of Professions and Applied Sciences and IT Participate in AI and Higher Education Forum

Dr. Salman Talahimeh, Dean of the College of Professions and Applied Sciences, and Dr. Bilal Amr, Dean of the College of Information Technology, participated in a workshop titled "Developing Higher Education Systems and Future Business Challenges." Organized by Birzeit University in collaboration with several Palestinian universities, the event was part of a joint project with the International Development Research Center (IDRC)

Discussions covered key topics, including:

1. AI and the Future of Higher Education
2. A Roadmap for Universities in the Digital Age
3. Preparing Students for AI-Driven Careers
4. Ethical and Fundamental Principles of AI Use

The forum brought together leading local and international AI experts, emphasizing the importance of AI integration in higher education to enhance learning, equip students for the job market, and establish ethical guidelines for AI use in academia.
