Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences participates in 12th Palestinian International Conference on Laboratory Medicine

A number of professors and students from the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences attended the Twelfth Palestinian International Conference on Laboratory Medicine, which was held in Al-Bireh for three days from August 24-26. The meeting was attended by over 100 Arab professors, researchers, and visitors from Tunisia, Jordan, and foreigners, as well as 2300 members of the Palestinian Laboratory Medicine Association. The Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences was represented by the presentation of a scientific lecture and posters specialized in the fields of laboratory medicine, where the student Ghadeer Al-Saada presented a scientific lecture under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, Dr. Haneen Nour, with the title:

Thrombocytopenia as a Prognostic Marker for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus: A Case Study. 

The Department Head, Dr. Muhammad Qaisiya, and Dr. Haneen Nour also presented one of the conference's best posters titled: The Role of Oxidative Stress and the Nrf2 Pathway in the Development of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
