College of Science and Technology organizes scientific lecture on nanotechnology

The Department of Chemistry at the College of Science and Technology hosted Dr. Rasha Ghoneim from Palestine Polytechnic University. Dr. Ghoneim delivered a scientific lecture on her research in treating cancer cells through nanoparticles that have the ability to respond to magnetic field and produce heat (Magnetic Hyperthermia).

Dr. Ghoneim is a graduate of Hebron University in 2008 and holds a master degree from the University of Jordan and a PhD. in Nano Science and Technology from the University of Dresden in Germany in 2019.
