College of Information Technology organizes "First Annual Palestinian Cybersecurity Awareness Forum"

Under the auspices of Dr. Nabil El-Jabari, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hebron University, the College of Information Technology organized the "First Annual Palestinian Cybersecurity Awareness Forum" in the presence of the Acting President of the University, Dr. Nabil Al-Hasasneh, and the Vice-Presidents of the University in addition to representatives of many institutions, universities and the University students from various colleges.

The activities included two sessions: the first session entitled " Cyber Awareness" and the second session entitled "Cyber Crimes". 

The speakers stressed the importance of raising awareness of cybercrime and the implementation of awareness campaigns targeting all segments of society and the importance of coordination between all public and private institutions related to cybersecurity to curb cybercrime in addition to the need of holding this forum periodically and part of the forum should be devoted to presenting scientific research related to cybercrime
