First Institute of Forensic Medicine in southern West Bank Hebron University and Ministry of Justice sign agreement to establish Institute of Forensic Medicine

Within the framework of joint cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and Hebron University, Dr. Nabil El-Jabari, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hebron University, received the Minister of Justice, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Shalaldeh, and his accompanying delegation.

Dr. Al-Jabari welcomed His Excellency the Minister of Justice and his delegation, stressing that Hebron University has always endeavored to strengthen relations with all the institutions of the Palestinian homeland. In turn, His Excellency the Minister of Justice affirmed the prominent role of the University of Hebron, the University of All Palestinians, and the status it has attained thanks to the wise policy and insightful vision of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Nabil Al-Jabari.

The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Salim Al-Haj Yahya, pointed out the importance of having an institute of forensic medicine in the southern Palestinian region as it will serve a wide segment of the Palestinian people, preserve the dignity of deaths, overcome obstacles, reduce the financial burden on bereaved families and strengthen the elements of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people.

The agreement was then signed, under the auspices of Dr. Nabeel El-Jabari and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Shalaldeh,  between Hebron University, represented by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Ministry of Justice, to establish an Institute of Forensic Medicine at Hebron University affiliated to the College of Medicine. 

The signing ceremony was attended by the Acting President of the University, Dr. Nabil Hassaneh, the Vice-Presidents, Faculty members of the College Medicine and the staff of the Ministry of Justice.
