Hebron University Opens First Entrepreneurship Day
The Acting President of the University and guests from the Higher Council for Innovation and Excellence inaugurated the First Entrepreneurship Day at the Hebron University, in the presence of vice-presidents, deans, creative students, supervisors and a large number of invitees.
Dr. Hasasneh presented a brief overview of the university's programs and the vision derived from Dr. Nabil Al-Jabari, Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, which is a catalyst for creativity, and addressed the importance of this day, which establishes the upcoming innovative days that will be an annual forum each year.
Ziad Touma, Vice President of the Higher Council for Innovation and Excellence, welcomed the idea of Entrepreneurship Day and the council's willingness to support creative activities at Hebron University and support the establishment of such a day in partnership with the Higher Council for Innovation and Excellence in the coming years.
Razan Nasr, Head of Stimulation and Exploration Department , gave an introductory presentation to the Council since its inception, the activities it supports, its committees and future ideas to support creativity in Palestinian universities.
Dr. Nabil El-Gendy, Chairman of the Entrepreneurship Committee, reported on the students' pioneering participation, which consisted of completed projects, and projects under implementation, and the ideas of pilot projects for students of leadership and creativity. The participants also included students who published research in refereed journals at the bachelor's and master's levels, as well as students who learned the Holy Quran by heart while studying at the university and finally students who won international initiatives. A video representing some of the students' projects was also shown, as well as the launch of the Entrepreneurship website.
