Hebron University supports prisoners in the solidarity tent

In solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike, Dr. Nabil Al-Jabari, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and members of the academic and administrative staff visited the solidarity tent in Hebron to raise the voice agaist all forms of  ill-treatment, abuse and torture of Palestinian prisoners and detainees in the Israeli jails, and in suuport of the fair battle of the empty intestine, the battle of dignity and freedom against oppressive and inhumane practices of occupation that are completely incompatible with human rights and international laws.

Dr. Musa Ajweh, Chairman of HU Workers' and Employees Union, spoke highly of the steadfastness of the detainees and their families stating that they are the ones who give us hope for a bright future and are the central issue that is constantly present in the consciousness of our people and that it is for everyone to be supportive of the prisoners, especially under Israeli intransigence towards their legitimate rights, he also emphasized Dr. Jabari's attitudes in support of the fair demands of prisoners.

Under the directives of Dr. Nabil Al-Jabari, a series of solidarity measures were declared in support of the detainees and in an attempt to pressure Israel into complying with the Palestinian political prisoners’ demands in line with international law.
