HURJ: B- Humanities Publication procedures
- The author(s) submit his/her manuscript to HURJ: B- Humanities e-mail and they should abide by the Journal policies and procedures for publication.
- The submitted manuscript is initially reviewed by the Journal Editorial Board to determine its compliance with the principles of academic research.
- The Editorial Board will assign reviewers for the manuscript or reject the manuscript if it is not in the scope of the Journal.
- The Editorial Board will send the manuscript to two competent reviewers who will evaluate it within one month and submit to HURJ a detailed report on its originality, using a special form for this purpose.
- The submitted manuscript is not reviewed by a reviewer who works in the same university/organization.
- In the case of a negative report from one of the two referees, the manuscript will be sent to a third referee to decide if it is scientifically accepted for publication.
- In case of a positive report from both referees, the author must make the modifications required by the reviewers (if any) within one month. In the event that the author disagrees with a suggested revision, he/she must provide rationale for not carrying out the suggested modification.
- After the required modifications are made by the author, the manuscript is resent to one the reviewers to ensure that the required modifications have been made.
- If the reviewer rejects the required modification, the author will be given a period of two weeks to make the necessary corrections, otherwise, the paper will be rejected.
- The information received from the reviewers must be kept confidential. The reviewers shall not be made aware of the results of the other reviewers.
- When the authors carry out the required corrections (if any), they will be notified of the manuscript acceptance it will be scheduled for publication in accordance with the policy of the Journal
- The author will be granted a copy of HURJ in which the submitted manuscript is published.
- The Journal shall not charge any fees when receiving the submitted manuscripts for peer-reviewing or for publication therein. However, if the author decides to withdraw the submitted manuscript or fails to provide rationale for not carrying out the suggested modification, the author shall pay the financial expenses resulting from the review process.
- When the manuscript is accepted for publication, copyrights shall be automatically transferred to the Journal
- The Journal offers a token reward to the referees.
