Abstract:
The study aimed to identify the level of psychological needs and political participation (attitude-practice) among women working in higher education institutions, as well as revealing the relationship between psychological needs and political participation (attitude and practice), as well as revealing the differences between the scores of the sample members on the psychological needs and participation scales. political participation according to (the nature of work, and educational qualification), and a sample of (140) women working in institutions of higher education, the researchers used the psychological needs and political participation scales, prepared by them. The results also showed that there were no differences in psychological needs according to the variable nature of work, while the results showed that there were differences in political participation according to the variable nature of work in favor of academic workers, as well as no differences in psychological needs among the study sample due to the variable of academic qualification, while it showed Differences in political participation among the study sample due to the educational qualification variable in favor of the master's and doctoral degrees.
