Abstract:
The study aimed to identify the relationship between self-compassion and social interaction of working wife in Al-Aqsa University in Gaza Strip and to recognize the level of self-compassion and social interaction they have, moreover, it aimed to verify whether there are any differences among the study sample on self-compassion and social interaction according to the following variables (Age& Educational Level). The researcher applied descriptive analytical method and used scales of self-compassion, social interaction that was prepared by her on sample of 117 worker wives in Al-Aqsa University. The results of the study concluded that: the level of self-compassion is medium and the level of social interaction is medium. There is statistically positive correlation between self-compassion and the level of social interaction, and there are no statistic differences between the averages of self-compassion, social interaction among worker wives in Al-Aqsa University due to variables (Age). In addition, there are statistically significant differences of self-compassion among the study sample due to the variable (Educational Level) in favor of worker wives PhD holders. As well, the results showed there are statistically significant differences of social interaction among the study sample due to the variable (Educational Level) in favor of worker wives PhD holders.
