الملخص:

يهدف هذا البحث إلى توضيح الحركة السكانية والسكان في إقليم الخليل خلال القرن العشرين والكشف عن الخصائص الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للسكان عبر هذه الفترة, بالإضافة إلى تحليل دوافع الحركة السكانية وأنماطها واتجاهها. وتبين بأن الإقليم قد تعرض لنزيف بشري شبه مستمر طوال هذه الفترة وكان الأكثر خسرانا, مما اثر على مستقبله واستقراره, وكانت الدوافع أمنية وسياسية واقتصادية واجتماعية, حيث توجه السكان لدول الحوار وغيرها.

Abstract:

This research aims  at clarifying  the demographic  mobility in Hebron district throughout  the twentieth century. It explores the social and economic features of people in this erea in addition to analyzing behined  the  types and trends of its mobility.

It becomes clear that throughout the century, the districthas suffered from a continuous immigration affecting its stability. This immigration is due to security, political, economical and social  factors  with  the result that people have moved to different neighboring countries and other areas.
