Overview

The faculty of Information Technology at Hebron University offers a joint Master of Information Technology and Systems Management with Atlântica University – Portugal.  It is an innovative program with dual focus on information technologies and business management. It aims at preparing a new generation of IT specialists as well as business managers to hold strong competencies and skills in information technologies and systems management. These competencies and skills can be utilized for effectively managing organizations and businesses. The program will be jointly taught by Hebron University and Atlantica University –Portugal (Students will get an accredited European Union degree as well a Hebron University degree).

Duration of Study:
The program might be completed in two years. Classes are conducted at Hebron University and virtually by professors from both universities. Students  will have the opportunity to register and attend one or more semesters at Atlantica University as well as complete their thesis at Atlantica University.

Conditions of Admission:

  • Holdersof a bachelor degree in engineering,management,information technologyor other computer science fields.
  •  Holdersof a foreign highereducation degree accredited from the Ministry of Higher Education.
  • To pass a personal interview by the program committee.
  • At least two recommendation letters.
  • Based on the personal interview, students of management background  might be enrolled in one or two intensive courses of 3 credit hours each, these courses are listed below:
  • Introduction to Information Technology
  • Introduction to Computer Programming
  • Based on the personal interview, students of information technology background or other related specialization might be enrolled in one or two intensive courses of 3 credit hours each, these courses are listed below:
  • Principles of Business Management 1 
  • Principles of Business Management 2 
  • All accepted students in the program must take an English language level exam. An Intensive English course will be given to those students who fail the English language level exam.
  • All accepted students in the program holding TOFEL with score 550 (or equivalent IELTS with score 6.1within the last two years) will be excluded from the requirement in point g.
