Abstract:
 
This study aims to clarify the approach of the Quran in the development of contemplative thinking and its educational applications. The researcher employed the heuristic and analytical approach. Furthermore, she discussed thinking, contemplation and synonyms of contemplation quoting holy Quran verses to prove the holy Quran approach in developing contemplation. The researcher examined also the mechanism of applying this approach to the social raising of the individual through family, school, and society. She demonstrated the mutual relationship of all educational institutions to create a creative generation.
