Hebron University delegation of trainers participates in preparatory training workshop with Food and Agriculture Organization
The Alumni Unit at Hebron University is implementing a project entitled "Green Jobs and Sustainable Income Opportunities for Palestinian Young Women and Youth in the Agricultural and Food Business Sector" to promote social and economic stability among Palestinian university students, fresh graduates, and unemployed youth by facilitating access to decent and sustainable “green” job opportunities in the food and agricultural sector. The project is implemented in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and generously funded by the Government of Denmark.
It is noteworthy that the activities of the project come within the strategic objectives of the Alumni Unit, which is concerned with building the capabilities of the HU graduates and its senior students to bridge the gap between the University graduates and the local and global market.
