Academic Guidance:

All new students must have academic advisors. New students are broken into groups by each Department and each group is assigned to an academic member who is their academic advisor. This advisor helps the student during his/her time in the academic program. The advisor also assists with all academic matters, advising students on academic registration at the beginning of each semester, helping to choose courses, and monitoring the advisee’s academic progress. The advisor receives a grade report from the Admission and Registration Department for each term. The advisor must monitor student grades and status of current registration. Academic problems which cannot be solved by the advisor will be referred to the Dean of the Faculty, or to an appropriate member of academic staff.
