Hebron University Participates in Orientation Day in Jerusalem


Hebron university participated in the orientation day for secondary school students, held at Young Women Christian Association (YWCA) in Jerusalem and organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, the Department of Education in Jerusalem and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). A large number of students together with their families attended the event where several Palestinian universities were taking part.

Mrs. Muna Irziqat, Mrs. Rana Tamim (Public Relation Department), Mrs. Banan Salah (Registration Department) and some Jerusalemite students represented the university, answering students' questions regarding the university colleges, the MA programs, BA programs and the intensive program offered by the university and accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education.  Participants addressed the importance for students to select the program that suits their abilities and interests and agrees with the local market needs.

The aforementioned representatives did a detailed presentation about the establishment and development of the university besides the extracurricular activities offered such as the university theatre group, the coral group and the scout Team. They also distributed guiding brochures to students that show them how to select the suitable program.
