Hebron University Receives Representative of Japan to Palestine


Dr. Nabil Al-Jabari, Chairman of Board of Trustees, received in his office the representative of Japan to Palestine Mr. Junya Matsuuraand his Assistant Mr. Ziad Al-Masri in the presence of Prof. Ahmad Atawneh, University President, and some of the deans to discuss ways of strengthening relations and cooperation between the university and Japan in the future.

Dr. Al-Jabari praised the friendly relationship between the two countries. He also commented on the role of Japan in the development of Palestinian society through implementing a number of development projects in different places in Palestine. Dr. Al-Jabari also thanked the delegation for their visit, and the interest of the representative office in developing the Palestinian institutions on all levels.

In turn, the representative of Japan expressed his pleasure visiting Hebron University, and appreciated the role of the university developing its scientific and educational facilities to serve the Palestinian community.

During the visit, the delegation went on campus-tour that included visiting the Media Center and Radio Alam, University Spa, and the laboratories in the colleges of Pharmacy and Agriculture.
