Graduate studies at the University of Hebron started at the faculty of arts in 1997. The first program was an MA in Arabic language and literature . Next year, the faculty of Islamic studies (Alsharia) launched an MA program in Islamic judiciary.

The Deanship of Graduate Studies at Hebron University was established in 2001. The main objectives were , and will be, the supervision and coordination of graduate programs and the cooperation with others faculties to launched new MA programs. New programs were added as follows: Plant Protection(2002), Natural Agricultural Resources and it's Sustainable Management(2002), Business Administration MBA,  (2004) , Applied Linguistics and the Teaching  of English Language(2006), History(2007) and- Fundamental of Islamic Law-   Usol Al Deen , (2010).

Currently ,the Deanship of Graduate Studies , offers eight MA programs and these programs may , in some cases , lead to a higher diploma degree .Last year , the number of students in these programs was 206.  A total number of 148 students have got their MA degrees through these programs. We hope to offer new MA programs in science , technology and education.
