About Language Center

The Language Center was established in 1995. It is considered one of the departments of the Faculty of Arts. Although it is perceived as being administratively independent from the rest of the Faculty Departments, it is not academically separated from the Departments of English and Arabic. In fact, whenever necessary, there is continuous coordination and exchange of faculty members between the Language Center and the aforementioned departments.

The Center works continuously on developing and updating the study materials and textbooks for the courses it offers in line with the objectives and philosophy of Hebron University. These courses are:

  • English language skills courses which are part of the general requirements of the university and the requirements of the Faculties of Arts, Science, Agriculture, Nursing, Management and Education. These courses are: (E101, E 102, E 103, E 106, Business English, English for Nursing I , English for Nursing II, EST, English for Media)

  • Arabic language skills courses which are part of the general university requirements, namely: Arabic Language (A) and Arabic Language (B). These are university requirements, which means that all students must take and pass.
