Dear Visitors,

As the dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Hebron University, I would like to welcome you to the new faculty website where you can find useful information about the faculty, available programs, curriculum, and on-going applied research activities of the faculty, and its role in serving the community.

This Faculty was established in 1987 in response to the community's need for highly-trained professionals with the necessary agricultural engineering skills to develop and enhance local agriculture.

With its three-pronged objective of education, research, and community service, the Faculty of Agriculture not only trains qualified professionals, but also sponsors applied research and conducts extensive outreach, visiting farmers throughout the Hebron region in order to answer questions and teach new techniques.

The Faculty of Agriculture offers programs leading to B.Sc. degrees in the following areas:

1. Plant Production and Protection

2. Animal Production and Protection

3. Soil Science and Irrigation

4. Nutrition and Food Technology

5. Agricultural Economics and Extension

In addition, the faculty offers two programs leading to M.Sc. degrees in:

Furthermore, our graduates are accepted as members of the Arab Agricultural Engineering Association in addition to the Jordanian as well as Palestinian Agricultural Engineering Associations.
