Dean's Message

Hebron University Faculty of Arts is distinguished by a variety of specializations in the field of humanities.  The Faculty is often conceived as a rich soil containing human disciplines and knowledge the dimensions of which extend in the interlocking spheres of text and rhetoric (Languages and literature), communication and understanding (Media Studies), as well as time, place, and space (History, archeology,  and Geography).

The Faculty of Arts at Hebron University offers a number of specializations which enhance students’ knowledge and awareness in the fields of literature, linguistics, history, geography, and media studies.  It was established in 1980 with the launching of the Arabic and English Language & Literature Departments. Then the faculty grew to include the History and Media programs, thus, offering a bachelor degree in each. The Faculty also contains the Language Center which offers service language courses for the whole university. The Faculty of Arts currently works on offering a BA degree in the fields of Applied Geography, Tourism & Archeology, and in the field of Political Science. The college currently runs three Master of Arts programs in the fields of History, Arabic language & literature, as well as Applied linguistics & the Teaching of English.
