English Capacity Training

Hebron University has received a Grant from the Quality Improvement Fund (QIF) – Ministry of Education and Higher Education and funded by the World Bank for the project entitled: "Improving the Quality of Education Programs for Higher Basic Stage – Social Sciences Major. The Grant aims at Reinforcing of the academic plans of teacher preparation in social sciences programs in the faculties of education for in Hebron University, An-Najah University, Bethlehem University, and Al Quds University. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the overall implementation and coordination of all Project activities under the supervision of the Project Director and the Steering Committee.
Assignment Objective
Hebron University is considering the selection of highly qualified English Language Trainer to train 30 teachers in Hebron University about English vocabulary, sentence building and communication. English trainer will be supervised by the Project Director and the Steering Committee.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Submit Plan, schedule, time plan and materials that would be used in training.
- Conduct pre-Training Test( English Level Exam for the Participant)
- Conduct 30 hours of intensive English Language Training within 6 meetings 5 hours each meeting. 2 days / week, preferably Friday, Saturday.
- Ensure the successful implementation and quality outputs of the training and provide good knowledge to apply for TOEFL.
Qualifications & Skills of Trainer:
- A Master Degree from an accredited university in English Language or English teaching
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in training professional English Language communication.
- Has understanding and comprehension in the educational jargons, terms, vocabularies ....
- Aware of the TOEFL test
- Able to train teachers on how to take the test via computer.
Place of Work: Hebron University/ Hebron.
Time Frame:
The duration of the assignment is 6 intensive meetings within 3 weeks; each meeting is 5 hours in the Period September 2012.
Contract Type: lump Sum Contract
