Message from the chairman Dr.Nabil Hasasneh:  The mission of the Department of Computer Science at Hebron University is to prepare students to enter the IT profession or to create graduates who are capable of pursuing higher academic research and technological development.The objective of the Department of computer science curriculum is to provide a high quality and innovative education in computer science and information technology in our region, and at national and international levels. The department is constantly updating the curriculum developing new programs that are consistent with the demand in this region and incorporating the impact of technology changes in order to stay abreast of rapid scientific changes underway in the field of computer science and information technology, to keep students informed of the latest developments in this field.The programs goals are continuously evaluated formally and informally. Accordingly, the curricula and course contents are upgraded and changed to fulfill and maintain the objectives of the programs. In addition, before graduation students must get training in computer companies for 160 hours.There is a great harmony and consistency between the program objectives and Hebron university mission. Both are intended to qualify active professionals to serve the community in different aspects of life, especially computer related fields.The department continuously ensured that students will always receive a knowledgebase in the area of computer science and information technology to equip them not only to use available technology applications, but also to develop and apply technology innovations to create novel solutions. |
