On behalf of Hebron University faculty,
staff and students, I welcome you to our Website. I hope
that you will take the opportunity to browse through it
and find that the university and its mission will suit
your current and future academic goals.
Since its founding 40 years ago, Hebron University has
achieved phenomenal growth in all areas, including
student enrollment, conferred degrees, number of faculty
members, new Buildings and programs. From just 45
students in 1971 to more than 5500 students in 2007.
There also has been a steady increase in the number of
faculty members. With more than 120 full-time faculty
members, the University offers a high-quality education
in its 8 faculties which nurse 46 academic programs that
confer 39 undergraduate and seven graduate degrees.
Hebron University boasts the largest female students
enrollment (70%) among the Palestinian Universities. HU is committed to the shaping of graduates who are
productive, innovative, flexible, and socially and
economically responsible citizens in a dynamic global
society.
