Welcome message from the Dean:
Since the establishment of our
Faculty in 1987, the Faculty has positioned itself to
take the responsibility of conducting the research in
various fields of agriculture; offering high quality
programs; providing the country with qualified needed
graduates; and establishing effective relationship with
public and private sectors.
As dean of the Faculty of
Agriculture, I want you to know that we are working hard
to achieve these goals and therefore, to enhance the
Palestinian agricultural sector. I am really
proud to announce that 85% from our graduates are
leading the Palestinian agricultural sector in the
levels of governmental, semi-governmental, NGOs, and
private sector.
Looking for the future, many challenges ahead needs some
changes. One approach to dealing with these challenges
and changes is the agricultural curriculum. Recently, we
have designed our new curriculum to conform to trends
and concepts of the agricultural education of the new
century. The new interdisciplinary curriculum is based
on the concept of "Learning by Doing".
Finally, I would like to express our wishes for
cooperation with similar agricultural institutions and
bodies.
