The library is located on the 4th floor at ( Omar
Ibn Al-Khattab ) building occupying 1320 m .It has a collection of
60,000 volumes in both languages: Arabic and English. The books,
periodicals, bulletins, manuscripts, slides, cassettes, maps, CDs in
the library are organized as follow:

Source section:
In which students can borrow the materials for a limited period
-
Reference
section: This section contains encyclopedias, dictionaries,
guides, bibliographies, indexes, catalogues and atlases that
cannot be borrowed.

Periodicals
section: This section contains about 180 titles in Arabic and
190 titles in English .The recent issues are displayed on
special shelves and the back issues are bound in separate
volumes and arranged according to subject and years. The library
also includes a guide containing titles and locations of
periodicals.

Special
collections: This section contains books and cassettes about
the English language and literature .These materials
were brought from the British Council library in Hebron, and
they are kept in a private section. This sector also includes
maps, vertical files and others of audio-visual materials.

The library
uses the Dewey Decimal Classification. Data are entered into
the computer by using (Libsys 2).
The library offers the following services
-
Circulation: five books for teachers for two weeks, three books
for graduate education students for two weeks, one book for
undergraduate students for ten days.

Photocopying: for special materials, including references and
periodicals.

Orientation: for scholars in using references, and searching
through ERIC database, besides the library orientation given at
every new academic year.

The
library is open from Saturday to Wednesday between 8.00 am-4.00
pm and on Thursdays between 10.00 am-3.00 pm.

Electroning
Information Services: The Library has online subscription to
specialized databases.

EBSCO
Database which contains electronic resources of about 8000
periodicals in all of the fields of human knowledge.

Oxford
English Dictionary.

Directory
of Open Access Journals .It contains about 2400 journals in
different languages
