  Students Affairs Department :

The Students Affairs Department  is one of the dynamic departments  at the University, where the extracurricular creativity of the students is practiced. It opens its doors before the student from the moment he enters the University; it looks after him just as one does with a tender plant. It thus polishes all aspects of his personality and develops his talents in a manner that enriches his life as a university student.

Hebron University is one of the foremost scientific monuments which defines the student as the axis of the educational and academic process and as the ultimate objective for its existence. For these reasons, the University was careful from its inception to found the Deanship/Bureau of Students Affairs, in order to take care of the student , solve his problems and develop his potential, so that his cultural and academic knowledge is melted in the crucible of integrated personality.

            The  Students Affairs Department consists of fours offices:

  • Sports Center

  • Student Services Office

  • Culture and Art Office

  • Social Supervision Office

  • Cooperative Work (Community Service) Office

The Students Affairs Department serves the students of the University and organizes extracurricular activities. It also supervises the activities carried out by the students by organizing them via the Students Council and the various clubs and committees. Further it provides all the means and facilities which guarantee such activities.

Student Services Center

 The function of this office is to provide assistance and services to the students with the aim of saving their time and effort. Among the duties of the office are the following:

  • issuing student ID’s and renewing them at the beginning of every semester.

  • keeping records of the student and issuing certificates of good conduct .

  • providing the service of  Loans and Grants. It receives applications from students and pass them to a special committee.

  • signing  clearance certificates

  • studying the level of service provided to the students and submitting proposals for improving them.

  • handling lost and found

  • contributing to solving the students problems on campus.

Culture and Arts Center

This office is responsible for supervising the students entities and activities. It has established the Students Council in accordance with well studied scientific principles. The Council contributes to translating the University’s philosophy and mission through students activities and the committees in the academic departments and faculties. The duties of this office are the following:

  • guidance and care for the students

  • conducting cultural competitions that aim at developing the talents of the students in the literary, scientific and cultural spheres.

  • organizing art exhibitions and offering specialized courses in the different arts.

  • assisting in the forming of university theatre band and that of  popular folklore and Dabkah.

  • establishing special facilities for students hobbies and activities.

  • holding symposia and lectures, in addition to participating in religious and national events.
